It works really good in my hair, I don't like the smell tho - it smells like butter. It lasts for a while, I used it heavily for about 3 months. It makes my skin soft too :)

This coconut oil does wonders for the hair as well as the body. I have never felt my skin so silky smooth and looking soooo good. A little goes a long way.

I would like to thank all the other previous reviews it sparked me to buy this stuff....I'm so glad I did its fantastic for my whole body. My biggest problem is during the winter my skin just hurts from the dryness. I went to the dermatologist and what he prescibed was not effective unless you kepy lathering the stuff all day. The coconut oil I leave in warm water to soften to use as a oil run after my shower and it leaves my skin silky soft all day.NOW I dont have to drown myself in creams through out the day. I even use it on occasion on my hair ...its awesome! I do love the scent it's like that yummy sun tan oil aroma!

I like the look, feel, and smell of this product. I also like that fact that it's all natural, but it didn't serve its purpose. I have really dry itchy skin and this product didn't help to control it. I still use it as a moisturizer on my face at night, but once I run out I won't re-order more. Also be careful if you have a dog. They won't start licking you more because all of a sudden they realize how wonderful you are, they really like the smell and the taste of this product.

This acts as a conditioner, skin lotion, short-term deodorant (lasts all day if I'm not active, only takes a little, no funky chemicals to absorb into your skin), acne treatment (I use benzoyl peroxide about 3 nights per week. it's pretty harsh, which is where the coconut oil comes in - I apply it after washing my face in the morning to prevent inflammation & dryness and to protect my skin) and dandruff control. I've always had dandruff problems, no matter what conditioner or shampoo I used, but the coconut oil has eliminated it completely. I do mean completely, as in I don't have a single flake of dandruff on my head. I have read that it is anti-fungal and anti-bacterial so that may be the reason (conditioners and shampoos don't typically have those qualities). I apply a little coconut oil to my hair every day or so (on wet hair, combing it through), and I use more to pre-condition on days that I shampoo (about 3x per week since I have curly hair).
As far as this particular source goes, it's great quality. Has a great mild smell, great texture, looks and acts as coconut oil is supposed to.
It's great to cook with too but I'd use a separate container for that. Mostly I use it for skin and hair.
